David Carradine Dies at Age 72

David Carradine was found this morning dead in his Bangkok, Thailand hotel room of apparent strangulation. The 72 year old actor was working on a film there. His recent film appearance was as Poon Dong on Crank 2: High Voltage. David Carradine, the son of the legendary actor John Carradine has made over 200 film and television appearances. This marks the end of an era for the Carradine acting dynasty.

He is survived by his wife, Anne Carradine. His acting credits include: Kill Bill, Vol. 1 and 2, Cheech and Chong's Death Race 2000, Kung Fu The Movie, Kung Fu The Legend Continues and Kung Fu.

Little Grasshopper has taken the stone from Master's hand and has moved on to a new journey. May he be blessed in his next life.

I'm In Such Big Trouble

I apologize for not addressing this sooner. I have not been active because I have been under a most unceremonious and outragous attack by a waste of material using the moniker, Lord Rick. I vaguely recall being a member of a group with this troglodyte, and leaving after having been called something to the effect of a Floridian Redneck.

Beyond that, I have no idea who this moron is. Now, apparently, I am supposed to have caused him serious pain when I refused to send him money for marijuana while I was member of his group, a serious infraction, as I understand it. What's worse, is that I refuse to "toke up" too! Unforgivable!

If you would like to know who this Lord Rick fool is, I've been invited on an episode of Nightmare Theatre to discuss the matter with the host, who has also been accused of not eating buffalo wings with Lord Rick! The horror!

What are the accusations? I'll post a link to the show, but one of the accusations is too funny not mention here.

I apparantly threatened to curse him with death row inmates! He is now in Las Vegas and promises to call the local sheriff on me! I'm in big trouble! He apparently has screenshots of my misdeeds. Also, I supposedly stalked him and burnt down a friends house in Arizona!

Yes, Sir. Keep smoking and perhaps your delusions will actually make sense to you. Remember, the more stoned you are, the better your girlfriend looks.

The Simple Theory of Space

Lately, I have encountered a fascinating individual. His name is Richard W. Richardson. Dick Richardson has written an Exogesis of existence and you can read it www.psychognosis.net if you please.

I am not usually one to plug another man's work, but I find his ideas to be fascinating to say the least. If you disagree with him, don't write him. He won't entertain your notions.

He recently wrote one of his musings to a group that I moderate called "Once Upon a No-Time". This musing states that we are literally of nothing. It is quite compelling for a very good reason. I have no idea if Mr. Richardson ever studied physics. He certainly doesn't seem to have, but his notions are strikingly similar the basic principles stated in quantum wave mechanics.

All things have a beginning. All things must be born of something, but what? All things, all matter, all existence must have a singular element in common. There must be a single trait that we share. On the surface, there doesn't seem to be but look closer. We all occupy space. Space is the universal constant. Therefore, it can be surmised that all matter is formed from space. Without space, there can be nothing. Think about it.

Now consider this. Space is the one elemental constant in the universe. We all occupy it and we all displace it. We all exist in a cycle. If we are of nothing, this would also suggest that are without substance. Think about it. You know it's true. History unfolds before us and once it has passed, it is a fleeting memory, barely tangible.

The wars of ages past and the beloved pet who has died are no more real to us than the very fables we denounce as fairy tales. The most solid stone eventually must pass into dust and is lost in it's current form forever. Thus do all things pass. Think why we mourn these losses. It is because that which was temporary has passed beyond our grasp.

Think to the next day after an event. You cannot touch the stone facade of the World Trade Center. The blasts of Pearl Harbor no longer deafen our ears. The touch of a lost love is a vague memory of someone who is no longer there, reminding us of our autonomy. It would seem that we are alone and that there is no permanence. If from nothing we came, then to nothing we must return, but what is nothing? Even the wisest cannot say and the perceptive mind can the hear the voices that call out from behind that veil. We do not what nothing is, but we do know that it is something. It is of substance and it is also occupied.

If it is not, then existence cannot be resolved.

Welcome to my blog. In the coming time, this board shall become inundated with messages so that it is unlikely that anyone will read this among the other messages. I am the author of Avalon's Eclipse, due out sometime in 2009. When I have a solid release date, I will send out press releases to newspapers nationwide.

You will not read about my book very often on this blog except for updates of the publishing process. I talk much more about it on my literary blog.
